[Moved to Helpdesk/Synchronization]

I am not sure how exactly this works with a SGS3, but you basically need to connect it as storage device. You then select the playlists you want to sync in the Synchronization pane and select the target folder on your SGS3 by clicking browse on the right to "Target Folder" and hit the "Start Sync" button.

Should not happen. Can you please add the following information:

Operating System, Nightingale Version, the target folder you entered, Error Console log (Tools|Error console...)

thanks - operating system is Windows Vista, Nightingale version 1.12. I've attached my SGS3 but the target folder doesnt pick up the portable device and only shows the options available for E drive and other areas.

when i had songbird on my system that allowed me to sync my phone with no problem at all

thanks

That is as it should be. You need to specify the technical path to a folder on the phone's sd card there. Use the same location you would use to transfer images to/from it, example:
Code:
Z:\Music
Where Z is the drive letter of your phone, and Music is a empty folder on the phone's SD card.

Songbird hat a completely different approach at how to sync devices, but POTI (the company behind Songbird) did not release that part of Songbird as open source.
