Just tested the latest (10) build on arch linux x86_64, and I get the same problem as when I build nightingale myself on this system (which suggests the bug is with running it on arch).

It runs, and doesn't crash, but import-media does not populate the music list with anything, and attempting to open a music file (.mp3, .ogg, .flac .wma tested) gives me the option to download it as though I had found it using the browser function of nightingale.

I have it working on arch as of last week. See the "how to build nightingale" post for more information, I think I have all the details there...it's on the last or next to last pages.
