Bonjour,

Après avoir téléchargé la version 1.12.1 de Nightingale, j’ai remarqué quelques petites erreurs pour la traduction française :

1) Dans la partie gauche de l’écran, sous Bibliothèque : Synchronization au lieu de Synchronisation.

2) Menu Fichier : Nouveau Dossier au lieu de Nouveau dossier.

3) De nombreuses lettres dans les menus et sous-menus apparaissent soulignées. Exemple : Éditer, Afficher ou Pause.

4) D’autre part, les points de suspension qui terminent plusieurs sous-menus sont-ils vraiment indispensables ? Je trouve que cela diminue le confort de lecture en surchargeant l'écran, sans pour autant apporter grand-chose. Et puis, pourquoi « Importer des médias... » avec des points de suspension, mais « Éditer les métadonnées » sans ? Ce n’est pas forcément cohérent.

First of all, I am sorry to answer in english, but my french writing isn't good enough to answer this.

The underlines indicate the shortcut key. That's a default behaviour you should see in many other application's menus.

Using the three dots is pretty much a standard, as you said, to indicate, that a new window/dialog will open when you click it. I think "Edit Metadata" should have them too, as you pointed out.

Thank you for taking the time to answer me. I did not, myself, bother to use english in the first place, since i thought these points were for the french translation team, so don't worry for not using french. Wink

I did not know for the underlines. I'm new on the pc platform, was using NG on a Mac before, and its version had no underlines, this why i thought of a problem (i feel kinda stupid now Big Grin).

About the three dots, well, what can i say if it's pretty much a standard ? Don't particularly like it, but i'll bare with it. Rolleyes Maybe adding them for each sub-menu will bring more consistency, yes.
