Has Shoutcast been tested with windows 7 32-bit? When I click the tab in the radio pane it shows the "loading wheel" gif, and never gets past that point. I tried porting some older versions (which work for me in Songbird) but still ended up with this result.

SHOUTcast was tested on Win7x64, and x32 should not make a difference. Note that Songbird's SHOUTcast uses another API to access the service, which we cannot use due to licensing issues. The API we rely on is a bit slower, so Nightingale will display the loading animation for a longer period of time.

If it does not display the list after a minute or so (wait some time to be really sure), have a look at Tools|Error console. Please post messages you get in the window popping up, this helps us to investigate further.

Yeah I let it load for a good 10 minutes, and nothing came up.

This error comes up right when SHOUTcast is launched:

There were a couple others that popped up every few minutes, but they also popped up when SHOUTcast was not open so I assume they're unrelated.

Thanks, I just did and it worked fine. After slowly adding back the files from my original profile there were a couple of files that caused SHOUTcast to not load again:

- playqueue@library.songbirdnest.com.db
- prefs.js

However adding these files gave me a different error this time:

Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0xc1f30001 (NS_ERROR_NOT_INITIALIZED) [sbIMediaListView.treeView]" nsresult: "0xc1f30001 (NS_ERROR_NOT_INITIALIZED)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://songbird/content/bindings/playlist.xml :: bind :: line 610" data: no]

I guess I'll start using Nightingale again with the "fresh" versions of these files and see if the problem comes up again in the future. Let me know if there's any other info you'd like to have.

If you want your data to preserve, you can try using an Add-on like BirdBackup, that usually works better than copying files, as it re-creates the stuff instead of just copying it.
