Hi
I have Version: Nightingale 1.12.1, Build 2454 (20140424085656)
running on Linux mint 17 ( Rebecca )
As soon as i try to play any video Nightingale instantly crashes. this is with mp4 or avi, it does not appear to recognize wmv or flv files

Any thoughts ?

I thought I should also mention I am using Nvidia 352 video drivers, Once or twice I get the video window buts it all gery and nothing in the error window

Do you have the gstreamer0.10-plugin packages?

Yes I have gstreamer0.10-plugins-good installed

You might need bad or even ugly to play some files. Though you should be warned that the mediacore can't play that file.
