With the next major OSX release dropping the support for 32bit apps, is there anyone out there who would compile 64bit binaries for Mac?
At some point I might try to do that myself, but with no real experience in doing so it may be something too much for myself. I'm just wondering if someone may have the relevant tooling in place on their machine and could do it in few hours instead of the few weeks it may take me to figure everything.
There is a few years old commit here that says: "Allow Mac 64-bit architecture to build", which means to me at some point someone has done or at least tried to do it.]]>false2016-02-08T03:39:31Z2016-02-08T03:39:31Z//forum.getnightingale.com/thread-1451.html
Just wanted to let you know about an ongoing issue I've experienced with Nightingale.
Each time I plug in/out an external display while Nightingale is running a 100px by 100px square appears. It appears on the main display and sits on top off all other applications. As soon as I quit Nightingale the square disappears.
If I open up Nightingale again (with external display still plugged in) the square does not appear. So, it seems that this is only an issue when plugging in (or disconnecting) the external display **while** Nightingale is running.
No big deal in and of itself, but it took me quite a while to figure out what was causing this behaviour. As far as I know, Nightingale is the only application that behaves like this (no other applications are affected in this way).
Version: Nightingale 1.12.1, Build 2454 (20140112193356)
OS: 10.10.5 (Yosemite)
Hardware: MacBook Pro (mid 2012)]]>false2016-01-24T06:48:13Z2016-01-24T06:48:13Z//forum.getnightingale.com/thread-1449.html
I'd very much like to try it out & appreciate that it'd be unsupported ]]>false2015-07-14T07:28:42Z2015-07-14T07:28:42Z//forum.getnightingale.com/thread-1401.html
This should be a really easy question. I normally use Nightingale on Windows and have no problems.
However, I installed Nightingale on a friend's Mac and haven't been able to figure out how to edit a smart playlist. I have no trouble creating smart playlists on a Mac. How do you edit a smart playlist using the keyboard or the mouse on a Mac?
Actually, there is one more thing. How do you add/delete columns (genre, comment, etc.) on a Mac, using the keyboard or the mouse?
Thanks.]]>false2014-01-24T02:52:41Z2014-01-24T02:52:41Z//forum.getnightingale.com/thread-952.html
First of all, I have to say: Great player! For sure the best out there for the Mac -- I l love especially the folder browser addon & the possibility to cosumize the player!
Anyways, there is one issues I got running Nightingale on OS X 10.9.1:
It looks pretty ugly on a retina display....is there a HD skin or something I can use?

When I start Nightingale it use integrated graphics but as soon as I play a song it switches to discrete graphics.
Is it necessary for Nightingale to use discrete graphics?
Can developer make it to just use integrated graphics?
Thanks in advance]]>false2012-12-18T09:03:34Z2012-12-18T09:03:34Z//forum.getnightingale.com/thread-615.htmlfalse
