Here are some Add-ons that I converted to Nightingale that I missed from Songbird:

Murphy Theme (64bit version):
http://www.mediafire.com/?i1009f9nde3w6b9

Command line support, for making custom hotkeys: Smile
http://www.mediafire.com/?5srbmrsw0b984t7

Equalizer:
http://www.mediafire.com/?inkfchtjwi85v1t

Last.FM Album Art:
http://www.mediafire.com/?2qa3bs84ew6sdxb

Folder Sync:
http://www.mediafire.com/?o9d9nydnhspmh94

MLyrics (this one causes an Error at start up, but then works as it should after) (something about not finding NetUtils.jsm(Someone else can fix that)):
http://www.mediafire.com/?1blmvr95f2587pm

A few others I wanted to try out:

Album List:
http://www.mediafire.com/?ub1796zrz53s105

Album Grid View: (Slow to open view and seems to cause CPU to Spike for me)
http://www.mediafire.com/?c4atjb37gw3gjjt

Photo View Pane: ( With default theme, view is empty till clicking and moving)(with Murphy Theme works just as it should)
http://www.mediafire.com/?m560od1xfdbzmlj

Hope you all enjoy.

Very nice! In the default theme, mlyrics shows lyrics in a color that is almost the same as the background color. I'm going to try and see if I can find and change the line that has this color. Thank you, for your help!

Thanks, happy to help out (even if its a tiny bit) with such an awesome project as bringing Songbird back to us Linux folks. Smile
Loving Nightingale!

but yea, right clicking gives the option for styles and can color it all anyway you like. Didnt really notice, kind of went straight to a preloaded skin absent-mindedly. Rolleyes

I'm glad to see new faces in the community! Smile

If you plan to continue working on AddOns, threre is now a place for your XPI's on GeekShadow's AliveBirds project page: http://alivebirds.org/wiki/doku.php?id=add-ons
After registering, you can edit the page and add your future AddOn ports without any need of mediafire (use the Image upload button, you can upload XPIs there).

That won't work completely, as there is some JSON involved here (which needs Songbird 1.9+, NG 1.8 won't work because it is based on SB 1.8). Don't brother with that, I'm working on a rebranded version for NG.

Thanks I hope to help out more.

Oh Ok, well before I uploaded Folder Sync I tried it quickly to see if it worked for my usage.

I used it on a directory on my computer and a directory on my plugged in Android, synced both of them.

So it seemed useful as far as that goes, unless device support comes in later to Nightingale.

But thanks, I will start uploading things at AliveBirds. Smile
And also for some of the addons, would I still put them up on AliveBirds, if they Work but have one Error.

For Example Mlyrics, or Album Grid view which seems slow and has cpu spikes.

Or the Photo pane which works in Murphy skin but not perfectly in the default feather.

I thought if they were here, on the forums, someone could check them out faster if they had a fix.

Or would they be looked at by the Dev team if they are uploaded to Alive Birds?

The issue is in preference saving, so profile, favorites, options, etc. won't survive a restart. There will be a official NG FolderSync, and I have some plans to add device-support to FolderSync. But it will take MUCH time... Wink

I think it depends on the error if you should put it to alivebirds, as it is a page for end-users. If there are performance issues, I don't see a problem in putting them on Alivebirds, but if some features aren't working, it might be a good idea to only put them here (for example as Attatchment), and ask for help.

Hi, how is MLyrics meant to work? I can't seem to find a contextual menu or otherwise to activate it?
Cheers.
