Wow - I like this - SO simple looking!

Quick question: How can I change the default location so that Nightingale looks there and displays my music library? (eg /user/foobar/musicplace/)

Can find anything the Options choices.

I'm running it on Mint Linux 64.

Tools Menu -> Options... -> Media Importer -> Watch Folders
Check the box, then set your path and that's it Smile

It hooks into the OS-specific features to monitor changes AFAIK. So it gets new entries as soon as you moved them there, or start after you started (if you moved the file while Nightingale was not running).

There is no way to manually start a sync, as it should get your changes instantly.

AFAIK not any number you can reach. We're using sqlite which limits tables to 18446744073709551616 entries (songs and playlists count together), but as sqlite also has a limit of 14 TB database, it should be less than 1e+13 entries.
I'm sure you never need a database (which only contains metadata, not the songs!) of more than 14 TB Big Grin
