Hi there!

Well, Player itself runs quite well - some graphic glitches, but else...

But the system integration is mostly just completely lacking:

1. No Entry in Sound Menu
I have to dig into that, but as I don't see a functional interface to Nightingale I'm not sure, how I would trigger Commands...

2. Addon: MinimizeToTray++ (Yeah, maybe not the best place to put this)
Minimizes correctly in most cases, but can't use the drop down menu of the icon - does exactly nothing.

3. Addon: CommandLine Support
So, obviously my next step was to just set up some shortkeys for some commands (like pause, next, etc.).
Didn't do anything - also calling from bash isn't working.

Do I miss something here?!
Installed from PPA 'http://ppa.launchpad.net/trebelnik-stefina/nightingale/ubuntu quantal main'

Any suggestions? :/

Thanks in advance!
Ali

Edit: Also could'nt get through with dbus, but didn't looked further why. Is MPRIS completely missing?

UPDATE:

So, Command Line Addon works now.

Used /usr/bin/nightingale instead of /usr/share/nightingale/nightingale-bin Dodgy

Well, Panel/Sound-Menu integration would be still pretty sweet Smile

Problem is most of us don't use Ubuntu, and I doubt any of us use pulseaudio...we'll need some devs who actually use those things to get an addon for panel integration.

Feel free to add a wishlist issue if it doesn't already exist on github, and hit up some of the ubuntu people you know and get them to develop something - we're always happy to merge pull requests...or add addons to the wiki.

The Unity Integration add-on should provide an entry in the Sound Menu.

Didn't dig deep, but a first shot didn't give me a result. But I have to go through the ReadMe when I have more time on hand...
