Hallo

First let me tell you that iḿ new in the Linux/Ubuntu Oneiric world and that i found in Nightingale a Player that looks for me nearly perfect. On XP i have had MusicBee.

My problem is that the player crash down, just close the application and that during playing a song, but never longer than 2 songs. No popup what is wrong.

I cleared bad installations with apt-get and can not find out why.

So if you answer me, be so kind and remember that im far away from being perfect in Ubuntu so as i was in xp.

if you run it from the terminal you might be some sort of error message to give you a clue as to what’s going wrong.

I had a problem with Nightingale crashing after playing only a couple of songs. Disabling MashTape solved the problem. I don't know why, but MashTape seemed to be messing with Nightingale somehow. So, try to disable the MashTape add-on and see if that solves the problem.

that was the problem, after i disabled Mash, Nigtingale is running perfect.

Its a pitty, that i now can not see infos about the Groups, but ............time will hopefully help to fix the problem.

So if you ask me, this thread can be closed.
