Ok, I've activated a Launchpad PPA under "derekt/nighingale"

I'm totally new to creating PPA debs, so if anyone has a suggestion or requirement, let me know.

I did a git clone of the latest version, and built it on my Ubuntu 10.10, x86. ( 2.6.35-31-generic-pae )

New to git, too, so took a while but I got it to build, and looks great!

So, unless someone tells me different, I was just going to go ahead and upload what I have (what versioning do I use? is it going to be 1.8?)

derek

That's great, the current nightingale is version 1.8.1.

Sorry, but I just activated it, but haven't had time to actually add to it yet. I just wanted to announce that there was space on launchpad reserved for nightingale, so that the community was aware. But I have never added a package before, so I have to read up and make sure I do it right.

Sorry for the confusion.

I'll give a heads-up as soon as I have something up there.

Do you build for 64-bit systems to? It's not the most important thing, but it would be nice to have. Arch is my main distro, but I am using Ubuntu/Mint on my school laptop, and I want Nightingale there.

Hi,

I'm on the way to publish a nightingale ppa.
But I would like to use the source-code for the "special" build

http://sourceforge.net/projects/ngale/fi...z/download

where can I download the sourcecode?

Thanks and Kind Regards
Marc
