It looks good although the top bar with the player controls and current track information is a bit thick/deep, I would think that something half the size would be better.
The great prototype is very good. Songbird and the coppery colors of the player can be clearly recognized in this UI.

But one thing annoys me : the menu strip. You hide it just like Microsoft does in Windows and that is not ergonomic. If peple do not see a menu, they will think that there is not any menu. Moreover, they don't care about keyboard shortcuts and consequently they won't press F10 to enable it. Why not enabling it natively or doing a summery of the most common options just like Firefox 4 and Opera ?
I just did it like Mozilla in Firefox 4 (except that I haven't put an additional Button there). I think it gives a clearer interface. But you brought a good point. My suggestion would then be to enable it by default, but leave everything else as said. That means that I can disable it, re-enable it temporarily with F10 and (most important) I can right click to get it as a context menu when the menu strip is disabled.

@Ezekiel000 Do you mean the top part with the play controls is too big compared to the rest?

By the way, I as a name for this theme I would either suggest "Black copper" or "Hybrid".
Well the buttons do look too large compared to the rest but what I was talking about is the amount of vertical space in the window the player controls and track information take up is double what I think it should be.
Well, they could be a bit smaller, but I would not say half the size. That would be too tiny. I made them bigger on purpose.
I have modified the drafts. The controls are now smaller and the menu strip is now visible by default.

That looks much better, I was being over the top saying it should be halved. But with these things I never really know until I see a mock up.

It looks great Smile
So we will need to retrieve some native colors in the feather ?

The blue theme uses the native selection color (active and passive selection), but everything else would be as shown in the prototype. The native elements, however, will of course also have native colors. Wink
I love this feather. Can't wait for the release...
